EVERYBODYs DARLING© is a sculpture series that delves into the essence of the pomegranate. The pomegranate is a symbol of love, health, beauty, divinity, and of course, wealth. Petra was determined to create a sculpture that, on one hand, appears very light (almost decorative), symbolizing the pleasant, carefree life, particularly here in Dubai, while simultaneously possessing profound depth. Thus, she immersed herself in the essence of the pomegranate, particularly focusing on love. The artwork that emerged, the kissing, love-spreading pomegranate, signifies the ecstasy it engenders through its incredible dissemination of love.
… And yes, it was the pomegranate that was offered to Eve as a temptation, wasn’t it?

ARTWORK_STATEMENT
In 2021, Petra created the artwork “FALLING IN LOVE” expressly for the Al Murraba Art Festival at the Ajman Museum. She had long harbored the desire to fashion a series of paintings that would capture the love-spreading pomegranate in various contexts and interpretations. However, her initial foray into this artistic journey unexpectedly led to the birth of a brand-new sculpture series, inspired by the notion of the kissing pomegranate.

EVERYBODYs DARLING© is a 3D-printed pomegranate sculpture-series, its material is resin. By now the sculpture is available in 2 sizes: 15cm and 30cm diameter. You can define the Pantone/RAL- color you want and the finish as well (matte, glossy, metallic, semi-matte) The small size is coming in a monochromatic color while the bigger size is showing off in individual and unique coloring/motifs (pictures from the big size will follow)
